Entrepreneurship Service Support – ESS

1. Introduction: The service envisages extending end-to-end support to the beneficiary in setting up of any business independently or in collaboration within minimum timeline and reasonable resources. The studies reveal that 90% of the budding entrepreneurs close down their businesses before completing even one year because of inadequate support system available in the country. Hence, it is imperative to regularly nurture the hidden talent among the youth by enlightening them on various aspects of industrial activity required for setting up Micro & Small Enterprises. These ESS mainly focuses on motivating the youth towards self-employment.

2. ESS in Mission RIEV Context:Mission RIEV in order to facilitate its members makes need assessment of the families and offers customised solutions as per nature, magnitude and intensity of the specific need. Accordingly, the members coming up with the entrepreneurial needs are to be facilitated in the entire process of business. The ESS service supplements such needs of the members of Mission RIEV initiated to conduct Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programmes for creation and strengthening of infrastructure, support for entrepreneurship development & skill development training programmes. Through the ESS, Mission RIEV would help in setting up new businesses with minimum risk factor to maximise returns and bring overall development of the business unit with follow-up assistance.

3. Salient Features: Following are the salient features of ESS:
General

Making analysis environmental set up relating to small industry and small businesses
Facilitating in selecting the product or service; formulate proposal for the product / service
Enhancing understanding on the process and procedures involved in setting up small enterprises
Facilitating acquiring managerial skills to run a small scale industry
Facilitating inculcating necessary qualities needed for entrepreneurial discipline etc.
